"Lovely old pub in a little village, no car park as such, staff were lovely and helpful but room was dusty on skirts and tables and the complimentary biscuits were out of date, two of them were October 2024, the small long Life milks had expired early October as well. We couldn’t get Wi-Fi in the room despite the instructions being in a welcome book and we couldn’t get the tv on anything. "Overall the stay was fine, nothing alarming. Hotel looked really nice as we entered. However, the quality and standard of rooms were below expectations of a high reviewed/ star hotel. One example being the bathroom, shower heads were not consistent in the water pressure and so caused a lot of spraying all across. "Beautiful hotel and facilities. We loved our room - the bathroom was amazing! Heating and hot water broke on Friday so shower/bath was lukewarm and cold room. which spoiled our evening a little, unfortunately. Staff were lovely and resolved it ready for the next day/eve. Breakfast was wonderful on Sat/Sunday with great choice and quality. Surrounding area is beautiful and we made use of the chauffeur service to come back from our evening at the gorgeous (and highly recommended) Royal Oak...

"What a pleasant place this was. We had food in the Dolly bar and it was excellent. The staff are very helpful. The room was clean and had everything you could want If I was being picky it would of been lovely to of seen outside lights from the bar so you could see the river in the dark"
