"Excellent location to walk to downtown Bologna. Room was large, clean & had a great shared kitchen area. Could use some better soundproofing between the floors. We were on the 1st floor (1 level above the street), and could hear people walking in their room above us. The only hiccough was there is only limited hours for checkin & the staff was late. "Quirky artistic decor which was unique to every room. Clean, bright and good facilities in the rooms, comfy beds. Warm welcome and friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast with lots of choice. A nice lounge area for guests. Very convenient location, although noisy (not in the hotel’s control, to be expected on a busy street in the heart of the old town). We were sorry to only stay one night - would definitely choose again!"

"On our first visit to Bologna we figured we would stay at the hotel Metropolitan because of its location in the city as it was fairly central to all the interesting areas and gave us a great place to start to explore from. One thing to note is that it is a bit of a walk from the train station, but the walk is nice and is mostly under porticoes which made it much more enjoyable. "We had a lovely stay at this perfectly located apartment. The apartment was perfect for the 3 of us, with a well equipped kitchenette and a beautifully updated bathroom. Everything was squeaky clean and the location is perfect with a beautiful view onto the rooftops of old Bologna. All major sights, shopping and grocery shopping are in easy walking distance. Communication was great and made both checkin and checkout super easy. Highly recommended. "
