Every table is given a "Table Occupancy Card" where guests can comfortably leave the dining table without worrying that it's may be taken by another guest whole collecting food or waiters clearing the table when guests or when guests are not at the table but haven't leave the restaurant yet. Upon leaving, guests will return the card to the reception.

"The Hyatt is conveniently located not far from a JR Sunday line from where one can reach almost all interesting locations in Kyoto. The rooms are well designed, clean and quiet. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The Japanese restaurant is nice and provides good food & good & friendly service but it is expensive compared to restaurants at the Ponto-cho. If one has a car parking is provided on site for a fee. My wife and I staid for 6 nights and we liked the hotel."
