"Breakfast was amazing and well enjoyed with a variety to choose from. Restaurant staff were great, exceptional customer service from Vikki and the manager Ellie. Reception desk staff were very helpful amd accommodating. Family room.was okay, good size, hiwver the bathroom was old and bath didnt look very clean, toliet was hard to flush, but overall a great stay and would recommend."

"The staff were friendly. Free parking was a bonus. The hotel has a gym/spa that is well run and the facilities were great. The hotel has a bar/restaurant which we did not eat at because the prices were very high. There is also a Starbucks in the lobby. I would highly suggest upgrading your room to a club room. These rooms are in a different section of the hotel and come with, late checkout, a coffee maker, and gym/spa access..plus this area was quieter. The only thing that put us off was...

"The full cooked breakfast was amazing, i couldn't fault it, single room was small but clean and comfy. very friendly owners , and 2 lovely dogs who came to greet me. Overall i enjoyed my stay, and if im ever back in the area i would definately stay again. "

"Booked in early January, some hours later, on the same day, messaged hotel asking for a cancellation, because I realised that possibly I wouldn't be able to make these dates or even the city due to personal circumstances. "Superb pub and rooms steeped in local history - Robert Plant started his career here playing blues guitar aged 15 in the upstairs blues club (sadly not there anymore but the history is palpable). The pub is a treasure trove of history, and so well preserved, from the original staircases and ceramic tiling on the walls, to the original bar. My room was just sheer excellence. "Hotel and rooms need a lot of TLC, water takes a while to heat up and when it does the pressure in the shower is awful. Pool wasnt bad but there were no spa appointments avaliable depsite having a membership. And the junior suite dosent look like the photos. Ended up makkng a complaint andnit was rectified but still not happy with my stay. Wasnt worth the money I paid. "
