"Albergo Sala was a unique experience in the small village of Valbrona. It was quiet and not much to do but that's what we were looking for. The staff were excellent and very helpful and the food was wonderful. The inn is historic and has been in the family for a few hundred years! As it is off the beaten track it is advisable to have a car as public transport is infrequent and challenging and taxi service is quite expensive. Aside from that it was a great place to stay a few days."

"An amazing hotel right on the lake , we had the lake vside room and it didnt disappoint. the hotel was fantastic, we had a free parking spot, close to the ferry depot where lots of ferries stopped. Food at the hotel was very good, other restaurants availaible outside too. the cable car to the top was within walking distance with amazing views and nice walks around the village. the staff at the hotel were brillina, very helpful and lovely.
