The safest area, you are in a plaza.
The moment you set foot out the hotel door,
You are in the center of it all.
There are chairs outside or front of the hotel that you can use and people watch, can't beat that. To the left of the hotel, goes to main market or the famous Mercado, access to cathedral.
To the right, access to more restaurants.
Across, access to more shopping.
Melia is surrounded with everything you need, it is the most accessible hotel.
Price is worth it, staff were great.
We left to airport at 4pm, Salva ensures that we will leave the hotel safely, called taxi for us since it was 4am, otherwise, taxi stand is Across the hotel during the day.
Variety of restautants in the area, from taco bell, McDonalds, BK, Popeye's to Japanese, Indian and Thai food, but highly recommend local/traditional Spanish foods.
We went to Navarro restaurant nearby for a great paella negra, Navarro was recommended by melia staff.
This hotel adds to the highlights of your trip to Valencia.
