"Large, well-appointed room with a patio facing the mountains. The
couch on the patio wasn't clean, but everything else was great. A glass
of wine upon arrival plus a complimentary bottle in the room. Cypress looked after our luggage upon arrival and departure it was a long walk to the room -and he was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was large, lots of variety and very good."

"The estate is beautiful, the food and wines are excellent, and the service was exceptional from beginning to end. We especially loved the family-friendly atmosphere, and Wonderdal was a highlight for our 6-year-old son.
One small recommendation for families: some dishes in South Africa can be quite spicy, so it's worth checking before ordering for children. Our son became unwell one evening after eating a spicy dish, and the hotel team was incredibly caring, attentive, and supportive throughout...

"This was a beautiful property, the staff was so friendly and helpful. They coordinated a wine tour, and made great recs for food in town. They upgraded our room, which was lovely and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was excellent as well, it included yogurt fruit and granola as well as a full English, coffee and juice but they seemed willing to make whatever you wanted. I had avocado toast one day. I would definitely recommend this guest house and would love to stay again!"

"I cannot recommend highly enough.
I stayed for 5 nights in September and would return tomorrow if i could.
The hotel itself is lovely with a lovely garden, it looks out over the park, there is tea and cake available every afternoon and it feels so homely. The staff are faultless and could not be nicer or more helpful if they tried, it was such a pleasure to stay there and is only a few minutes walk from the centre but lovely and quiet."
