"Good place"

"This hotel which oozed character was an excellent find. Close to St Marks Square but situated in a quiet corner of Venice. The staff were all helpful and polite and great at answering all our questions. Breakfasts offered a wide selection of foods and although we never ate our dinner in the hotel it always was busy. Best part was sitting relaxing by the canal in the reception area sipping a cool glass of beer or aperol spritz! I would highly recommend this small hotel."

"We stayed here before we took the train to Ravenna to catch a cruise. The hotel is bery close to the Zatterre water bus station, which meant a very easy and quick walk to the hotel, and quick access back to the Venice Train station. Hotel was clean for its age, very quiet, and the aircon worked well. Breakfast service but we did not take us of that. A few restaurants and cafes nearby. Lots of stairs though, as typical for many older hotels. Would stay here again."

"Easy access,clean n close to bridge Rialto"

"Very disappointing stay and definitely not worth the price (around CAD $400 per night). Check in after 2pm not available. You have to do it yourself. Upstairs is reception and they give basement room to us beside their storage, garbage and air conditioners heat area. Only one room was there which they gave it to us. The room had a strong unpleasant smell that irritated my wife’s eyes, and it was difficult to get help because staff were often unavailable. The only request I made was for...

"Very good location, and we had the top room which was beautiful and had a roof top terrace. Checkin was smooth and the staff was helpful in arranging water taxis. However, there was no WiFi in the room and we were told that because the room was on top they could do nothing about it. We had to put one of our phones a floor down and used it as a WiFi repeater, which seemed to work. Really don't understand why they couldn't just do the same, especially since they claim wifi in room on Expedia....
