"We really enjoyed the apartment and the balconies over looking the square are PERFECT! extremely easy to get to the water taxi and other great areas. This was perfect for the entire family. The kitchen area was great with lots of glasses and plates. The did need a wine opener :) but have a feeling that will be corrected ASAP. The only hiccup we had is we didn't get the email to pay the tourist taxes in advance. That was 100% my fault for not checking in earlier and I didn't have good wifi...

"The location of our stay was good and the suite was clean and staff very friendly. We would love to give it 5 stars because the owner, Andrea, made an effort to address our concerns by replacing the bed after the first night which greatly improved our comfort. We had requested to change rooms because there was an annoying noise coming from the laundry room next to ours. Unfortunately, we were unable to move rooms. The wifi and cell service were poor and the Air Conditioning wasn’t strong enough...

"We loved the experience of staying at Casa Martini. It was a great spot, not far from the train station and close to the Grand Canal. From the moment we arrived, which was earlier than checkin, Alberto graciously welcomed us and was most helpful with information on Venice. We so appreciated his knowledge of restaurants and how to get around. The hotel is a small, quant environment with lots of character and a wonderful oasis after fighting the crowds all day. "This was one of our favorite stays on our honeymoon. We were only here for two nights, but after walking Venice all day, it was so nice to take a seat on the balcony for a very coveted view of the canal, especially at sunset. I would recommend this highly as it's a 7 minute walk from the train station and only over one bridge with stairs. No need for a water taxi, self check in was easy, and the staff was very responsive even when not at the front desk."
