Easy commute from the Main Venice island over to Fido. Very quiet, Clean, and staff was very polite and friendly. Nearby shops and cafe and safe to walk even at night. Definitely recommend and will return for another stay.
Great hotel very close to public 24hr boat into Venice. Staff friendly and good breakfast. 2 restaurants at end of street for pasta/ pizza etc would recommend and would stay again.

Recommend 💯
Really nice boutique hotel. Lido is a beautiful quiet place. 45 minutes from the main island. The water taxi is very convenient and breakfast is very good. Highly recommended
A nice traditional hotel located in a quiet area on Venice Lido. Rooms vary in size, some are excellent, others a bit cramped. Excellent breakfast.
Venice Lido is an excellent place to stay if you are visiting Venice. The hotels tend to be better and much cheaper than in Venice itself. Plus the Lido is a very pleasant seaside area with good facilities.
The hotel is an updated Venetian small hotel. It is decorated with much attention to detail and is quite an experience for a North American traveller. Very well located. And staff were courteous and helpful, other than restaurant staff, who I found unpleasant.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Lovely and helpful staff. The hotel needs an upgrade, it’s really old.
I loved the location as it was walking distance to most of Lido's restaurants and attractions and easily got to on foot being a 3 minute stroll from the ferry stop. The breakfast was substantial and had something to cater for everyone.
I would highly recommend for those not wanting to come home to the hustle and bustle of Venice at the end of a busy touristy day, leaving it all behind and heading for the Lido and being able to walk on the beach is very special.
I have stayed at this hotel several times and am confident that it will provide a pleasant stay each and every time.
It does everything well and the staff are all helpful and friendly at all times.
Breakfast is good, I’d prefer a little bit more space so that the buffet could be less crammed together but other than that, no gripes at all.
We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Rigel in Venice on the Lido. The rooms were comfortable and pleasant, the breakfast was great, and the location was perfect for exploring both the Lido and Venice itself.
However, the real highlight of our stay was the incredible staff, particularly Marco M. Every evening, he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, always with a smile and a warm, friendly manner. Our son instantly bonded with him, and it was heartwarming to see their friendship grow over the three nights we stayed.
A truly memorable experience—thank you to team and especially Marco M for making our trip so special!
I had an excellent stay. Everyone was friendly. It was a good-sized room and was cleaned every day. There was a small kettle and a small fridge (not stocked).
Yes, it was on the Lido and 20 minutes from San Marco, but the room price was very fair. The breakfast was excellent too.
I would be happy to stay again.
Great base for sightseeing in Venice and combining beach holiday on the Lido. Great value. Also the night receptionist on check out on the morning of Sunday 14th April was extremely helpful and obliging. Only sorry we didnt have any cssh to tip him only card! The decor is a bit clasic for some but has character. Would stay again.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
I liked everything but the hotel is fairly dated and could use some upgrading. The friendly staff made up for it however. The breakfast buffet was extraordinary except the coffee which was poor. quality.
I stayed at the hotel Rigel for a total of 3 nights. Very comfortable and clean. Perfect for as I was out and about touring and site seeing during the day. The room was alway clean I felt safe. Breakfast was between 7:30am-10am and had a good continental style selection. Certainly enough to get you started for the day. Very easy to walk to from the main water bus station and restaurants. Decor is dated and could do with updating but honestly, other then that can’t really fault the service provided.
A really lovely hotel down a residential road but only moments away from the main Lido strip with shops, restaurants and ice cream shops.
The room was ready two hours early which was such a relief after travelling from Lake Garda. Very nice clean room with good air conditioning. Four beds neatly made looking pristine. Very clean bathroom with lots of towels and toiletries for all four of us. A bonus was a fridge in the room, not a bar but empty which meant we could store our water in it which was brilliant. Breakfast was a very big spread of fresh croissants, selection of cakes, biscuits, lots of fruit, cheese, ham plus cooked egg and sausage. Overall there was plenty of choice for us and our two kids. Hot chocolate machine was delicious. We would come back to this hotel.

Lido is beautiful. Very good breakfast buffet, and pleasant hotel clerks . However, it is hard to take your luggage to the hotel doors due to much construction on the street.
Also… beware that this is a VERY old Italian style hotel. It is quite hot in the rooms, even in winter. Beds very hard and small… better to buy the biggest room with a large blecony of you can afford it.
Was asked to also pay the same tax twice, even though I had already paid. I explained and the clerk insisted I must pay again. I was VERY annoyed, but just paid the extra $5 euro again she would stop bothering me.
I would not stay at this hotel again. Yes to Lido, no to this hotel.
