It was a very good location for sightseeing. The reception staff were all kind and easy to talk to. I was worried that there was no elevator, but they helped me carry my suitcase up and down the stairs so it was no problem. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety and was enjoyable.

The staff here was amazingly nice. The room very small but typical Europe the price was good as was the breakfast. The location was very good to walk to places, especially Saint Mark Square about a four minute walk. I would definitely stay at this hotel if I came back to Venice. They also helped me get transportation from the airport which is expensive so it was nice that they took care of that for me at a price lower than what my travel agent was able to find.

The staff was kind and helpful when we had questions about gondolas and dining. The breakfast was fabulous, with lots of hot and cold breakfast choices. Our room was tiny but functional and clean. Great location -- 5-minute walk from Rialto and 5 minutes in the other direction to St. Mark's Square. It's a boutique hotel in need of renovation; on the other hand, its age and style also has charm.

The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. They made us comfortable despite the strikes that occurred for trains and vapporetto. They gave us such great attention and suggestions to make our travel more enjoyable. I credit Miriam for all her help in making the necessary changes to our itinerary. The location was central to all sites we wanted to visit. I highly recommend this Hotel to all who are looking for a comfortable place to stay in Venice.

Excellent location and a warm welcome.

This perfectly located hotel was perfect for our stay in Venice. Every single member of the team was warm and friendly. From the front desk, to the breakfast staff and the cleaners. The room was spotless. Breakfast excellent, always plenty to eat and a lovely variety of foods. Just a short walk to Rialto Bridge and St. Mark’s square. I’d highly recommend a stay here.

Very nice, though the floor of the room slopes and thus the bed also slopes a little. Breakfast was not served until 7:30, so it could not be enjoyed before departure to the airport. Staff were very helpful. I recommend this hotel if you wish to be in the heart of Venice.

I never leave reviews, but Hotel Serenissima exceeded our expectations. The best location in Venice! And very accomodating to an English speaking guest. Room was spotless, breakfast amazing, and staff extremely helpful and kind. I loved Hotel Serenissima!
