Appearing shortly after check in with a welcome belini❤️ Liberal use of scented cleaners made the room smell unbearable. Front desk provided a fan very promptly to help. The hotel in under renovation & beside a gym/dance studio. So there is noise during the day if you're in the hotel during the day. "Very friendly and flexible staff. Check in was easy — thanks for the tips about getting around! Property was very clean and quiet. Lido is a great home base for a trip to Venice. Very good coffee and breakfast. "

"Hotel was lovely, room was great just the bathroom/ shower shelf missing/Broken meaning all shower stuff had to be left on the floor. Breakfast was great not full English but scrambled eggs,bacon and all the usual continental and cereals. Served with fresh coffee or tea. Plenty of shops and restaurants close by and away from the madness and costs of Venice island. Handy for the actv waterbus 5-10 mins walk would definitely go back"

"Nós amamos o hotel. O fato dele ser antigo é exatamente o charme dele, parece cazinha de vó, super aconchegante e acolhedora. Bem localizado na ilha de Lido próximo ao ponto de parada do vaporetto (iamos e voltavamos apé) e uns 10 minutinhos de Veneza. Como estavamos de carro, foi ótimo porque viemos de ferryboat e conseguimos estacionar do lado hotel (ruas com bastante vaga e seguras). O café da manhã foi perfeito e super valeu os 10 euros. "Wir haben für zwei Tage gebucht und grundsätzlich hat alles funktioniert, auch der späte Check-in sowie die vorherige Absprache. Wir hatten ein Doppelbett im Schlafzimmer und in der oberen Etage zwei Einzelbetten für die beiden Kinder. Vom Platz her ist es in Ordnung, kleiner sollte es allerdings nicht sein. "The room was perfect for what we needed. It’s quite rare to find a property with a double and two single beds. The breakfast was perfect to set us up for the day, and the hostess was really helpful with local information. I would recommend this place if wanting to visit Venice, we prefer escaping the bustle of the centre and escaping by water taxi to this quieter location for the night. The nearby restaurants and bars were great."
