4/5 - Good
Verbania is a good base to explore Lago Maggiore while it isn't as busy as Stresa.

Older property well maintained . Shower in bathtub spilled water all over the bathroom . Poor design

Property is older, but well maintained. Our suite was spacious and clean, comfortable beds. Beautiful location, nice view, attentive staff. Would recommend.

Terrible communication with owner. She claims to speak English, but doesn't answer your question/request because she doesn't understand you. NO PARKING possible at all! You have to walk over a very very long distance with all your suitcases. Parking is a nightmare, because there are not enough parking ...

Comfortable clean practical room. Easy to get anywhere in Lugano. The laundry room requires a bit of negotiation with others during busy times. Bring your own laundry soap and basket - for travelers this means a trip to the grocery store.

Verbania was a pleasant experience although not the best town around lake maggiore, Stresa to the south and Locarno to the north are very pretty, The roads leading to Locarno can be tricky to drive, Over all a nice part of Italy.
