Top Vermontville Hotel Reviews

Lake Placid Inn Boutique Hotel

8/10 Good

"Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. There was a lot of noise at night from street and other guests."

Eastwind Hotel Lake Placid

10/10 Excellent

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The staff that checked us in was very friendly, making our welcome warm. She offered us complimentary smores kits and walked us to our room to ensure everything was in order for our stay. She also showed us some of their other locations and we are now considering a hiking trip to the Catskills! The amenities set this place apart by far! They have a fire lit and the sauna warm at all times which was a very cute touch considering it rained most of our trip, but we still made sure to enjoy the fire and smores! The room we had included a fridge which this booking site didnt notate, so we were very pleased to find that out when we got to the room. There are complimentary items in reception like towels for the sauna and board games as well as a paid bar. The location features a lot of community spaces in their buildings, like ours had a library (first photo attached) and we found an empty building with a big table unlocked, probably for groups to gather together! Also, the smallest detail, our room had scented toilet paper too - I was sick after our hike and this made blowing my nose 200 times as enjoyable as it could be LOL! They have a text message system that was very efficient in communicating for room service etc. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

Mountain Lake Inn

8/10 Good

"It had a heated pool but at the time we went there were many young people enjoying it. Older building. No elevator to second floor. Ice machine and laundry/washer/dryer available on floor. Vending machines down by the office. Perfect location in town close to all the trails, and scenic walks. Individual heat pump in each room."

Courtyard by Marriott Lake Placid

8/10 Good

"The hotel was nice. We enjoyed the large lobby and fireplace. However the only reason we booked this specific hotel was for the hot tubs which we learned were not working upon our arrival. A huge disappointment after being out all day in the chilly air and looking forward to relaxing in a hot tub upon returning to the hotel."

Hampton Inn & Suites Lake Placid

10/10 Excellent

"Best hotel in Lake Placid, wonderful staff there. Hot coffee is always on, and enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Thank you!"

The Town House Lodge

8/10 Good

"I stayed for one night. Haven’t used any amenities other than our room. It was clean. The bed was excellent, including pillows. We entered and left the room without interacting with anyone using the code sent us in the email. After we left, we received a bill for $10 for the property fee. Not sure what that is about. Overall nice stay."

Cambria Hotel Lake Placid - Lakeside Resort

8/10 Good

"Dinner at the restaurant was good, but I would skip the breakfast option- you can find better for much less. The blinds in the room were excellent and blocked all outside light. Not the most cleanly stay, but worth it for the views!"

Gauthier's Saranac Lake Inn

8/10 Good

"Clean room nice view of lake Balcony TV too small"
