"Our room was extremely cold for the first two days we were there at the end of October 2026. No heat at all. On the third day, we requested to change room and there was a room available and was lees exposed to elements like no north exposure. We were told that at the Fortezza, the heat is not on before November 1. We talked to other tourist when we took an excursion to Venice and their hotel room in other hotels in Florence were warm. The room was very clean and the bathroom was nice but...

"High class hospitality! This property was BEAUTIFUL, and the best service staff I’ve ever experienced. The amenities such as the morning breakfast with a view were a highlight to our trip. We also came while they had a free shuttle which was so helpful for getting into the city and back. The room was nice & clean. My only complaint was our room was very close to the road and the noise from traffic at night and early in the morning really affected our sleep. I would stay here again but perhaps...

"An Exceptional Stay — Truly a Five-Star Experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay at Starhotels Tuscany in Florence, Italy! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth, kindness, and exceptional hospitality. Every member of the staff was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, respectful, attentive, and professional. Their willingness to assist and make our stay as comfortable as possible truly stood out. The hotel itself is absolutely...

"Absolutely amazing place to stay !"

"Really liked the hotel, the location was excellent. Room size was a generous size, the added twin-sized couch was nice to have so as not to spend all the time in the room on the bed. Friendly staff, nice breakfast, good value for price."

"Very helpful front desk employees. Whether it was laundry, dinner suggestions, or a warm greeting they were all helpful and it made our stay more enjoyable. Decor was a bit dated but rooms were clean, and location was excellent, particularly if you take the high speed train into or out of town."

"The property was lovely. A former 15th(?) century monastery located on a hilltop overlooking parts of Florence. Surrounded by olive and fruit trees, and gardens. It's past the Roman gate, about a 30 euro cab ride from the center of town. Though they didn't tell us until we asked, there's a shuttle that will take you down the hill to the Roman Gate where taxis and busses can be found. We arrived just after the hotel restaurant had closed for the afternoon by a minute. They were kind/professional...

"Hotel Rosso is a short walk from the train station - it is a little tricky to find as it is in a pretty plaza and there are restaurants directly in front of the entrance. All you need to do is ask someone - it’s not complicated at all - just not immediately apparent. The room was clean - shower was on the small side, and breakfast has everything you could want. You can ask for a cappuccino from the wait staff and they will even get you a cappuccino to go - and there is no extra charge for a...

"This was a lovely hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast was awesome. No elevator but again staff very helpful."

"The hotel had an antique feel and was very clean and well kept. The staff were all friendly and helpful with directions, and the amenities and breakfast were excellent. Having wine and a light snack every evening was a delightful bonus. I highly recommend this hotel."

"We were very impressed with Il Malaspina. It was a great location away from crowds. But very close to exceptional restaurants and the train station. The room was comfortable and spacious and the shower felt like a trip to the spa (I almost jumped in for a second shower one day). Breakfast offerings were also exceptional, and especially for those of us with dietary restrictions. The front desk was also very friendly and helpful. No question that I would rebook. This would be my go-to...
