最初、Kioskとはなにかわからなかったが、行けば分かるように掲示板があった。 また、google mapでみたとき、駐車場がどこかわからなかったが、問題なく駐車スペースがあった。 バストイレは共通だが、タオルの入れ替えは2日に一回くらいだった。 冷蔵庫に物を保管するときは、近場のスーパーで得た紙袋に部屋番号を書いていれておいた。特にイタズラされることはなかった。 玄関の鍵を開け閉めするのにコツがあり、鍵を深く入れてから、抜けないようにすこし鍵を引いたところでしか回らないものだった。 また、靴を脱ぐスタイルの宿だった。 しかし、kilaueaからかなり近く、利便性はよかった。 古いので温水が出るのに時間がかかった。 費用は抑えられた。また火山の活動と休みがあえば、泊まりたいと思う。

A very nice low cost alternative to expensive Hawaii. At night you can hear frogs, crickets, birds and rain drops which makes for a serene backdrop while sleeping.

Unique old charm in a building from 1912. No issues sharing the bathrooms. Comman area good with fridge and cooking options. Limited dining options however super convenient for volcano exploring.

Unique experience, a stay at an old Hawaiian house we had to ourselves. Old and quaint but in good condition. Very convenient for visiting Volcanoes NP and a few dining options nearby.

Never saw any staff from checkin to check out, but didn’t need them at all anyways. Everything was ready when I arrived. Close to small town that has everything. Easy entry to the park.
