"This location was adequate. It was nice to have a place near the airport that our family of six could stay in a single suite. Getting to the lodge when our flight finally disembarked around 1 AM was a bit of an ordeal--we were thankful for a kind airport employee who pointed us in the right direction. "Easy check in and very friendly staff! Room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The Accommodation is very convenient with supermarkets and food outlets close by. Really appreciated the cleaners efforts, the room was always serviced and the condiments replaced daily. Much appreciated! Overall great value for money and everything you need and nothing you don't!"

"Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful clean and tidy room. gorgeous country views, fully enjoyed the "special attention" from our hosts. The meals and service were amazing. Chef "Stewart" cooked beyond perfection! The spa pool was very nice and relaxing. We enjoyed the 5 km trail walk around the property. A very calm, relaxing and safe feeling at this lodge. A highly recommend quiet retreat! Thank you for making our stay so memorable."

"Margret runs a nice B&B. On the beach, half way up the Corimandel Peninsula. Wonderful breakfast spread. Comfortable bed and wonderful sunsets."

"A tad cold, even in summer. The breakfast basket was nice surprise but i feel the quantity can be increased (only 1 strip of bacon and 1 small waffle per pax). The cost could be used for a nice hotel stay instead"
