"We had a lovely 3 night stay at the Red Lion Hotel, the room and bathroom were kept very clean with plenty of toiletries and towels, tea, coffee and biscuits, the food in the evenings was excellent as well, staff were very professional and friendly at breakfast and during the day/evening, we would definitely recommend and will stay there again."

"The hotel was in a very convenient location for visiting the Shambles and city core. We found the room itself to be a bit rough in terms of amenities. The stall shower was on the small side for me, but the hot water came quickly and didn’t run out. Our biggest complaint was that the TV signal was not stable (kept glitching out) and the room never really cooled down in the evening (no A/C). Granted, we were there during a record heat wave. "Nothing wrong the aesthetics of the hotel and appeared clean. Staff were good. Just the second Marston’s Inn in a year that I’ve been bitten badly by bed bugs. Reported and hopefully will get sorted. 100% will not stay at another Marston’ Inn."
