"The location is terrible, the accommodation is dated, the room I had had stains on the walls and the bathroom tiles were stained. The so called carpet in the bedroom was dirty and not even a carpet, they are square office floor tiles cheap and thin material. "

Wakefield Cathedral A church has stood on the site of Wakefield Cathedral in Kirkgate since Saxon times. The present building was built in the 14th century and restored in the 19th century, and is a grade I listed building.
