That said, the problems with your room have been addressed, and i assure you, if/when you return, if you would prefer a plate, please ask the serving staff. We are very sorry that we did not meet your expectations on this occasion. I would advise to contact the hotel in advance to request a ground floor room if you have mobility issues. unfortunately on the night you arrived we had a full house and all of the ground floor rooms had already checked in so i really couldn't move you anywhere on the ground floor. We did however upgrade you to a riverview suite with a walk in shower and roll top bath in a part of the building where there was a wider staircase to the room. The room servicing was carried out before you arrived and then once during your two night stay. Apologies, if you felt the room needed more. Glad you enjoyed the food and bar service. Unfortunately this is an old hotel and there is no lift. this information is freely available on Expedia, but we apologize for your inconvenience.
