"The Knoll House Hotel is a charming hotel which was once a personal residence. It has a lot of history and is in a delightful location overlooking the sea. "Old hotel. Food was good. Three issues: bed was uncomfortable; tap water was not recommended for drinking with the hotel providing carafes of water to take to your room; and parking spaces are quite limited."

Tea and coffee available, but no biscuits though, and 2 glasses in the room but no water which was a little strange. "We found all staff so friendly and helpful. Entering the hotel gave a feeling of relaxation comfort and homely. Variety of food choices giving tasty evening meals and breakfast although I thought it too much to charge an extra £10 each for a fried breakfast whereas other hotels it’s included in the room cost. Our room was very comfortable with a superb shower"
