"This place is an absolute gem. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and the bed was huge and really comfortable. There were plenty of teas and coffees and some nice biscuits provided and a bottle of water, the bathroom had hand wash, shampoo, conditioner and body wash in, the food both at dinner and breakfast was fresh, hot and delicious, the parking was in a locked garage round the back, we both thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you to all there 💕"

"Beautiful room with a comfy bed and plenty of space. The hot tub wasn't working when we first came into the room, but the staff were happy to sort it for us. We also ordered pizza and it was delivered to the room free of charge and was tasty, but the breakfast was even better! "

"Staff very busy when i arrived so had quite a waut befire i could check in. Staff shortage? Room was comfortable, eveni g meal in the restaurant (fish&chips) was very good and reasonably priced. Buffet breakfast worked well but under the table on sunday morning was a right mess, not been cleaned from the night before? Another sign of staff shortages? This is an old proprty, so perfection in decir etc is not going to hapoen."

"From the moment we entered Friendliness was the Name of the Game! Tasha showed us to our room and told us everything we needed to know. "Easy place to find and excellent parking area, Pub was very themed as yuo would expect with the name and associated furnishings all creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. The owners son was running the pub and provided the best level of service I've encountered for a considerable time. the food was probably the highlight with a good diverse choice and without doubt the best value I've ever had. Superb choice of places to stay, although the rooms could do with an update."
