"The room was a good size and spacoius, large bed with good facilities, the only thing that let it down was the smell from the drains, but that could be to do with the hot weather we’ve had recently."

"Friendly staff. Upon arrival, there isn’t a person permanently at the check-in desk…not really a problem, but if there was a sign directing newcomers to the bar for assistance, that would help. I wish there were fridges in the rooms. But the shower was great, room was clean, and a kettle for tea/coffee worked great. And the food available at the attached pub is excellent. "The Inn was a friendly well run place with good food and staff, being near the Trainline to Chester/ Manchester was useful too. The only issue we found was the width of the bed, too narrow! A 4.5 foot bed is too narrow so our sleep was not too good."
