"We had to be in Oxfordshire for the funeral of a very special friend and came across the Red Lion in our search for accommodation for a couple of days. Our experience was excellent - the room was fine and very comfortable and the kitchen provided excellent menus. But the main comment is how brilliant your staff were - they made our visit so much more agreeable than it might have been."

He was kind and laughed as we arrived from a late train to quickly change outfits in the toilets and run off to not miss our show with promise to return and check in properly. He took it in stride and when we returned hours later he had sorted our bags and welcomed us with joy.
