"Very comfortable, clean and quiet room, with good location for Headington shops and restaurants, and very close to the East Oxford hospitals which can be difficult to get to with heavy traffic if you have an early appointment. "The area around the property is magnificent. The property itself is very nice. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The only concern I have is in regard to safety in case of a fire. The amenities are upstairs and the stairs are quite narrow. An older person would have extreme difficulty getting down and the windows do not appear to be an option. Maybe there were other options but I didn’t see any. "

Despite raising the issue, the hotel refused to provide a room matching the original description, even though availability appeared to exist. The room also had an unpleasant smell throughout my stay. "It was clean but condition of room wasnt great. It served the purpose of a last minute cheap option. Was a bit difficult to find as entrance is between shops and the rooms are above the shops."
