"Quiet. Uncomplicated. Staff was helpful when needed but allowed your privacy as well. Lovely stay. Want to come back soon and would stay there again immediately."
"Wonderful, warm, welcoming staff. There is no elevator, but the bellman was friendly and helpful. They offered many services we didn't take advantage of, such as beach gear, a shuttle around town and bicycles. The breakfast setup was a little odd - there was plenty to eat, lots of choices, real cutlery and dishes, but since it was set up in the parlor or sitting room, there were only coffee tables available so one had the sensation of eating from your lap. We loved the comfortable bed, the lovely, quiet, cool room and the 19th century ambiance, as well as the lovely staff. The property was also conveniently located in town without being too noisy. Great stay!"
"I've never bothered writing a review for a hotel, but I will say this was one of the best hotels I've stayed at in a while. We had a basic room with an adjoining bathroom at a pretty decent price for an overnight the week of july 4th. It was decorated so well. The toiletries were so good I looked into purchasing them when I get home to find they were way outside my price range. The amenities were AMAZING! We took the complimentary bikes along with the complimentary beach chairs and beach towels to the beach one day. I've stayed at a lot of hotels and it's almost unheard of for all of the above to be included with the stay. We've already recommended this hotel to friends and if and when we go back we will absolutely be staying here again. Also, the staff was wonderful. 10/10 Would recommend."
