What's unique about the Oakhurst Gatwick was their invitation the night before to complete a menu which allowed their chef the next morning to customize your hot meal breakfast, according to your tastes. As a smaller hotel, the atmosphere at breakfast was peaceful, personalized and refreshing. "

"This is not a hotel; it is some really nice rooms for rent. You get a code for the doors and never see any people. Once going in, you just see a few rooms downstairs and 3 rooms upstairs. If you cannot carry your bags up a flight of stairs make sure you request a room downstairs. The rooms were very clean and very large. It was very quiet and I got lots of rest. "We needed an overnight bed and breakfast option after attending a wedding at nearby Farnham Castle. Dawyk Beech fitted the bill perfectly and was less expensive than an overnight at the castle. Our en suite room was a very generous size overlooking the lovely garden with a comfortable king bed. We needed to check in before the official time of 4.30 to get changed for the wedding and wouldn't be back at the guesthouse until after midnight.
