Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Jacksonville by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Hotel was very clean and well managed. Breakfast buffet was very good and staff helpful. Room was good and bed was very comfortable. Would definetly stay here again as pricing was very reasonable for the king suite."

"Really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The check in reception was amazing. She was very kind. Our suite wasn't exactly great. The housekeeping staff that had cleaned did not clean windows or mirrors, so there were handprints amongst other things all over them. Our fire alarm was disconnected and just gone. The shower was amazing though. Our refrigerator freezer was completely iced over. We had stayed because I am ill, and had to have surgery and needed to be close to my team of specialists and we live 2 hours away, so I needed rest. I was mostly able to get it. Except for a large dog barking all night next door."
"It was very nice and comfortable. I found the shower gels and shampoos were not very good or cleansing. I preferred bar soap and had to track down the cleaning staff to get a little more soap."
"I thought this place was excellent for the price. I got the suite with jetted tub, but never used the tub (it looked nice & large though). Room was large & the place was quiet, clean, & the hotel/surrounding area felt safe. The bed, couch, & office chair (the layer of which I used a lot) were all comfortable. I didn’t really use any of the amenities & didn’t eat breakfast, but they had a pool and a small workout room that both looked clean & useful.
The following stuff does not bother me, but I figured it is important to some people so I will mention that it doesn’t look like the hotel has been updated in quite some time and my room overlooked the pool, so when someone was in the pool I could hear them. Definitely not super loud or annoying, & there were a few kids playing down there. Didn’t bother me at all, but something that might bother others. The carpet in the room was pretty stained, but I walked around for basically two straight days barefoot and my feet stayed clean.
When I stay at a hotel I want it to be cheap, clean, and I don’t want to be bothered, so this place was perfect for me."
