"Self service check in, impersonal. Not my preference, but ok if you don’t mind technology. Don’t expect a valet or concierge. The rooms also require the use of an iPad which controls the lights, blinds,tv, air as well as asking for your room to be made up( they do t do it if you don’t ask).
The rooms are tiny, like cruise ship tiny.
The staff at the bar was friendly and willing to answer any questions.
Location is great if you’re going to Fenway or love to shop."

"I was a little nervous to stay here because of the polar opposite reviews, but my stay was excellent! Hotel was super clean, staff was nice, location couldn’t be beat. Now the outside has an “older” appearance but the inside seems to have been recently renovated. My only issue was the bathroom, I’m 5’5” and it was cramped in there and the shower head was just at the top of my head and the toilet was very close to the wall. "Conveniently located in Boston’s Seaport area just a few minutes walk from Legal Seafood and Harpoon Brewery. Hyatt place had great staff from the moment we valeted our car to checking in. "It is easy to walk the city, ride the T and get back to the hotel. An elevator to the Aquarium T stop is just outside the doors. The staff was helpful in directing us to Fenway Park via the T. We had breakfast a couple of times in the restaurant, one time on the front patio when it warmed up. We took a cab from the airport but once we learned the T we took it back to the airport, easy and cheap. Clean room, great staff, air conditioning good."

- The property is a MOTEL (not a hotel) and this is clearly stated on the sign leading to the property
- There is NO RESTAURANT on site despite the Expedia ad saying there is
- The motel is located next to a very busy highway on one side and a much quieter street on the other. Our room was on the busy highway side...
