"The hotel was a hidden gem. The linen and towels were white bright and plush. The grounds and hotel very well maintained. The staff was very polite, professional and helpful. Next time when I’m in the area I will revisit.👍"
"I have never stayed in a hotel room so dirty.
When I walked in, there was a solid layer of dust, salt(??) and food crumbsw on top of the fridge.
I don't know. Maybe they have really short cleaning staff.
I went to the local CVS and got a swiffer, spray cleaner and paper towels to clean up.
It icked me out from the start. You could see the room was not well dusted or vacuumed.
Breakfast?
They had the same bagels out for breakfast 4 days runnning.
(Day 1 - 12 bagels, Day 2 - 8 bagels.., and so on).
After 3 days I went and bought myself a bag of bagels at Trader Joes.
I travel a lot. Sometimes I stay in bargin hotels; sometimes nice ones.
This was the worst hotel I've stayed at.
The staff was pleasant enough, but someone's not doing their jobs there.
Never again"
"Pros:
The location was excellent! We enjoyed a great view of the trees without the noise of traffic. The breakfast was fantastic compared to other 2.5-star hotels; there was plenty of food available. The size of the room was perfect for two adults; it was very comfortable. The staff were available and helpful 24/7. For instance, when we needed to change our bedsheets at around 11 PM, they provided us with a complete set. Additionally, the availability of free parking was a bonus at this location, with plenty of spots around the building to park close to the entrances near our room.
Cons:
Unfortunately, the sheets were not completely clean; there were some stains on them, which was a bit disappointing, though not overly bothersome."
"Affordable rooms near UMass. Room was typical of other more expensive hotel rooms we’ve stayed in. Had all the amenities. Only downside was not having an elevator, but only had to carry luggage up one flight of stairs. Right near Yankee Candle Village!"
"Nice inn, beds were great and room was quiet. Lots of common spaces, loved the library. Walking distance to Emily Dickinson house and lovely walking on Amherst campus. Great breakfast and dinner. Helpful friendly staff. Will visit again!"
