"No temp control in room. Not the usual amenities of a higher priced hotel. Room had no window to look out of. Depressing and they told me we had been upgraded Over 500.00 a night. Not appropriate pricing Location is excellent but still…"

"Always amazing, the staff is the best, location great and the rooms are perfect"

"This is my second time here and location is so convenient. Rooms are not big but they work out well. The bar on site is amazing as well."

"Everything about this historic hotel was stunning!! The staff were incredible!! This was the best hotel I’ve stayed in!! Highly recommend!!!"

"The Lucerne was ideal for just about all of our needs. The neighborhood felt safe and healthy dining options plentiful. The subway was a three minute walk away. Our room was spacious when compared with many locations in Manhattan. We stayed 8 nights and this became home to our family of four."

"Only issue was possibly thin walls, as a seemingly drunk individual was being very loud after midnight outside my room, but my roommates seem to think he was in the hallway and that therefore the walls themselves are not actually thin and problematic."

"Very good experience. The hotel is well located, with several subway stations nearby, restaurants, etc. The only thing was that our room didn’t really have a view to the street, etc. It has windows but nothing was there. The housekeeping is performed every day, very important for us. I definitely recommend staying here."

"Great Hotel, bed and pillows could use some updating. While our room was "upgraded" to the 38th floor wound up getting a phone booth for a shower, it was an ADA shower which I specifically said I did not want. My son is disabled, and he was not with me"

"Rooms are newly refurbished and overall hotel is neat and clean; room was clean. Perfect central location. Staff helpful at front desk. Housekeeping lady Sophia on our floor was very kind to our young son."
