Literally a couple of minutes walk from the West Cowes ferry terminal, with a great choice of bars and restaurants on the doorstep.The apartment is at the rear of the property, so no street noise. If you intend to discover the island using public transport, the bus terminal is only a 5 minute walk away, situated next to the M&S food hall. Super friendly and helpful owner and manager. "Kind of okay, but some of the staff were really bothered if you need anything or ask them a question. At the pub the staff were a bit weird and made us feel not welcomed. Most of them looked very tense and wanted you to get out of their faces quickly. Some of them were good. They should leave more milk bags in the rooms."

"I would call this cheap and cheerful. The rooms are very basic. I stayed on a Friday and Saturday night. I had a twin on Friday night at the front and it was very noisy with people outside. On Saturday I had a double at the back which was quieter but the window opens to a yard with the kitchen fans and it was noisy and smelly with cooking fumes. This double was very small I can’t imagine two people in it. It was also in need of redecoration. The staff were very friendly, can’t fault that. The location was right in the middle of Ryde so very handy for everything. As I said cheap and cheerful!"

"The hotel is very strange and you have to check in online then you get given a code walk to your room and on the wall next to your room is a lockbox where you enter that code to get your key to get into the room all of that takes a very long time and it feels more like a Airbnb rental than an actual hotel. The bar has no drinks to sell and we soon found out in the town that the hotel has recently shut down and reopened under new ownership. My hunch would be the new owners have never run a hotel before."

"No air conditioning but there was a dyson fan and a heater. Room had a coffee machine, mini fridge, hairdryer and a handheld steamer. We stayed in a room overlooking the harbour and it was very quiet. You couldn't hear any noise from the pub next door. Room was modern and very clean. The bed was huge (king) and very comfortable. There were places nearby to get breakfast and is very close to a Sainsbury and M&S food (Apr26)."
