Kauai Inn
10/10 Excellent
"This place is beautiful! The hotel is on beautiful land and is well kept and breathtaking. So much grass, trees, and plants that overlook the beautiful mountains. The staff is so kind and create such a nice experience for the guest. Thank you for allowing us to stay here!"
"Ok so let me start off by saying this was the coziest staycation. It was my first time visiting Hawaii and their rate was the best compared to the big name competitors. Booking something small is always scary but when I walked in I noticed how clean it was. It’s super close diners and cafes and there’s a Walmart close by for any last minute items. They have a fridge in the unit and offer AC. In the AM it’s just coffee but when you’re in Hawaii there’s plenty of food elsewhere. This place will stay on my list for any future Kaua’i trips."
"The property and beach was nice. The beach was a little rough for my 4 year old, but the pool was good. The Rum Fire restaurant was very good, while the other one was okay. Staff was either friendly or polite but seemed over it."
"Cozy cottage that is very private. Great view of the beach and perfect for sunset walks. Very walkable property with lots of seating. DVD rental was a bonus."
"We went here on a family vacation and it was amazing. The beach is great! Smaller waves and excellent sand, with warm water! The pool was also great with warm water and the hot tubs actually worked! Not something you always see in tropical climates. Super close to the airport with a free shuttle, and no airplane noise at all. Walkable to many restaurants and shops. Highly recommended!"
"We had a great trip, staff was friendly and attentive. Landscaping was beautiful with very minimal interuption. AC in our room was nice with everything well stocked. Access to the athletic club was huge plus."
"We had the absolute best stay at the Koa Kea. We loved how the resort is on the smaller side, and you can easily walk out of your room and to the pool, beach, or to some nearby businesses (little fish, puka dog, surf shop..). The staff was super friendly and accommodating as well. I also loved being greeted with real leis, chocolate for our honeymoon, and wine in the room when we arrived! The pool bar had some yummy food, and good drinks. The sunrise yoga was fantastic as well. We stayed here for our honeymoon and actually preferred it to the first half of our trip, when we stayed at Hotel 1 Hanalei. Again, we loved how small and intimate Koa Kea felt, and it had a calm, relaxing vibe with mostly adults staying at the property. We already can't wait to come back again for an anniversary in the future."
"Amazing hotel almost like in White Lotus. We greatly enjoyed the lagoon. Hawaiian performances in the lobby throughout the day.
Poipu beach has many turtles at sun set."
