"We stayed in this hotel last night for 1 night. The location is perfect to get to Ross-on-Wye and is located on A road.
The rooms are spacious, clean and nicely decorated. 2 rooms were allocated to us opposite each other which was convenient for a family.
Large rooms and bathrooms, very clean with attention to details. Very comfy bed.
Food was also very good. My children loved it.
Overall great experience. We are planning to go back for a long weekend in September and will definitely stay in...
"We have stayed at The Feathers a few times in the lead up to our wedding, but this was our first time staying in the cottage with our dog. It was a fantastic stay as usual, and we loved the cottage, it was exceptionally clean and we can’t wait to stay again! "

"Nice room had everything that’s needed: comfortable bed, clean and spacious bathroom, TV, fridge, cooling tower, nice view of town and nearby hills. Breakfast with variety of options was delicious and service was excellent. Relaxing music in breakfast room was a great idea. The place has got good vibes. "

"Stayed overnight whilst spending a few days fishing on the local river. A warm welcome on arrival and a nice little clean room with everything I needed (comfy bed, warm shower, tv etc). Breakfast was freshly cooked and very good value at £9.85. Beer was also very good and a great selection. Staff were really friendly and happy to have a natter. Look forward to returning next year!"

The food was fantastic and I understand her husband is head chef, Joseph Colman. The rooms were attractive and very comfortable with lovely bathrooms. "Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect."
