I stayed for 4 nights during UMich commencement, since I booked late and everything else in A2 was $500/night minimum. I had low expectations, thinking you get what you pay for, but I woke up the last morning covered in bedbug bites. I think no matter how cheap an establishment is, the patrons should realistically be able to expect the room to be free of bug...

"My assigned room had chunks of carpet missing. The doorframes were chipped and worn. The room didn’t appear to have been dusted in quite a while. The bathroom floor needed to be cleaned. There was an old molded coffee filter and grounds in the coffee pot. The refrigerator didn’t work and the front closet had a bunch of exposed wall anchors and missing shelves. Lastly, the wall nearest the window had suspicious dripping stains (disgusting). In all, not the greatest stay for the price. This hotel...

"Every thing was amazing, the pool could have been cleaned out a little more. The breakfast was better than I would have expected. I’m need of more staff. "

"The hotel and room was extremely clean and the staff were very helpful! The rooms were spacious. There was always fresh coffee in the lobby which we were told is made fresh every 3 hours. Would definitely stay there again."

"It was an overall good room for the price! We only had one trash can which was weird, and it was a recycling can with no bag.. The wifi was also super bad. I ended up using my data the entire time. But for the price, I was satisfied. It’s a good location."

"I never actually got a room because the desk person gave me a key to someone else's room and then disappeared and never came back before I gave up waiting. He was either high or drunk or really sick because he couldn't stand up or do anything. He tried to keep my ID when he copied it. I gave up waiting for him to return and went to the hotel down the street. I'm still fighting to get a refund."
