"We stayed for 1 night at the North Charleston Holiday Inn. Clean room, great breakfast, nice and friendly staff too. My niece's (14 & 15 years old) wanted to swim and the pool closed at 8pm, which made them unable to use it. Front desk agent was very friendly about informing us when we were heading that way. Would have liked to know the pool hours in advance but everything else was good."

"The outdoor of the property was very clean. Except for my room it had a very high smell of urine and dog hairs on the carpet. Also one of The under cupboard handle was broken. I spoke to a young man by the front desk and he says he would have sent a maintenance man but no one came.. house keeping cleaned the room on the second day a the high urine spell wasn’t as high anymore. Other than that the hotel was ok."

"Room service is only certain days for certain floors so make sure you ask when it is. During my week stay I had one day of service. When I asked front desk staff to send them, they ignored me."

"The hotel itself is a fine place to "rest your head" as another guest had stated. The hotel is of average cleanliness you'd expect. The front desk was one staff member, who was also responsible for all phone calls and running the hotel bar as well. The poor man looked very stressed and overworked, as did any staff you saw, which was quite rare. There was no personality, no greeting, just people struggling to do multiple jobs. "Easy to access hotel. Plenty of parking. Older hotel so you’re going to see signs of it. I had to wait a few minutes for someone to arrive at the front desk to check in. Our door would not close properly so we had to push/pull it hard to open and close it. You could tell when we were coming and going because it made a lot of noise.
