"The only time we saw anyone actually at the front desk was the day we checked in. We left the hotel early in the morning and returned in the evening each day exhausted and had to get a new key for each day because they were changing the locks or doing whatever. It wouldn't have been so bad if the staff was actually around to help you right away. They are hardly ever at the front desk, especially the guy working nights! We called out, "HEY! Anybody here?" "HELLLLLO????" and still nobody showed....

"It was a bit difficult accessing the WiFi. We were told it would automatically connect when we arrived to our room but tar didn’t happen."

"I never stayed at property. Expedia took money prior for a “pay st checkin” - I canceled the reservation. Property never received the funds. Multiple attempts with Expedia cannot get refund of $475.+. Expedia is perpetrating fraud. I will pursue and report to every social media what a scam Expedia is. I will never use them again!"

"Although the staff was friendly and polite, the cleanliness of the room was completely unacceptable. There was a dead cockroach inside the built-in air conditioner located near the floor. Even worse, the bathtub had sand that had not been cleaned, and there was someone else’s pubic hair on both the walls and inside the bathtub. It was absolutely disgusting. "Elevators were very slow and Breakfast was terrible. They never had enough food meaning they ran out of food items early. The justification was the delivery truck was late or delayed. That could be the case one day however if so you adjust."

"Room had a leak above and had to change rooms. Mold was in the room. Staff was friendly and place was fairly clean."

"I stayed for few days with my dad. It was a good stay overall. The staff were very friendly and we were getting cleaned towels almost everyday. However, one receptionist at night tried to sell me a toothbrush for some cash even though they are given complementarily. My dad went next morning and the lady who was very helpful from the beginning with our room change gave us the complementary toothbrush. Breakfast was fine, area was quite, and not too far away from downtown Charleston."

The property is definitely in need of an upgrade as the room I was in looked like it could have been involved in a crime of some sort.
