"Nicely renovated rooms. Very clean"

"The outside property was clean a sun well kept and the room appeared clean. I checked the bed as I was nervous about bed bugs. I did not see any bed bugs but the sheets did not look clean, hair and nails clippings? No sign of bed bugs though. The bathtub had hair in it and it could really use replacing as it is very old and worn out. There was also a dirty towel left hanging on the back of the door. The clerk was very friendly and helpful when I checked in. I do t think I would stay again."

"We regularly travel with a large sports team and this was our all-time favourite tournament hotel. We loved the gazebo outside for team meals and found the staff very accommodating. This is a well-designed hotel, and the proximity to picturesque Ladysmith was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend to teams traveling for tournaments in Nanaimo."

"We really liked this place. The walk out to the lake was wonderful and easily accessible. The staff made us feel welcome but also allowed for space and privacy. The location is great and the lake was the main draw for us. The traffic noise from the highway was noticeable but not a huge problem. We will book again."

A lot of personal and credit card information were required for online check in which is a high safety concern. After filled out all those info waited out side for 30minutes without any response plus the assistance phone number didn’t pick up until we tried 5 times. Loud AC and bad experience."
