"I booked this apartment late afternoon, and arrived promptly after booking. The host Greg was fantastic. He was friendly and extremely helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a better host. He made sure I had everything I needed and settled me into the apartment with all the info I needed. WiFi was fast and there was a smart tv too to watch Netflix or Amazon prime. Shower was great. "Very cool property with peacocks! Rooms were disconnected from each other which gave a condo-like feel. Very quiet while I was there. Staff were great and helpful in coordinating transportation and giving recommendations for what to do during my stay."

"I didn’t like that the pool bar was closed and open on Friday for a limited time. I had some problems with my room and didn’t understand how housekeeping didn’t address. However, when I did they took care of the problem quickly. I found some of the staff not to be friendly. They ran out of towels for the pool quickly. "This was my first time in Barbados & my stay at South Gap Hotel was excellent! I booked a week vacation in honor of my birthday . All of the staff members were very nice & friendly, the rooms are very tidy/clean. The restaurant and bar on property is amazing & reasonably priced! "The apartment is located more or less on the beach in close proximity to a 24 hr. bar. On Sundays there are beach parties that are loud. The room was never cleaned by staff. I left my garbage outside and it was not collected for days. Outside of those things, its a nice intimate space in the heart of Bridgetown."

"Resort was clean, room was spacious although we had pool side view the stairs to our space for the pool was broken, staff was friendly, no activities or much entertainment, food was mediocre, found myself going to a coffee place 1 min walk away and going to other restaurants off property to enjoy the food, only chopstix was worth it for dinner. If I would’ve known I wouldn’t have paid more for the all inclusive and would’ve just paid standard price."

"The property is a bit old-fashioned but has everything you need. Rooms are well-kept and spacious. The balcony gives a nice outdoor feel. The location of the hotel is convenient as it is close to several restaurants and a small mall. The staff were helpful and I had no issues during my stay."

"This is one of my favorite repeat hotels. The staff is wonderful and friendly. The location can't be beat. Everything in walking distance. Restaurants, clubs, supermarkets, the Boardwalk and best of all the hotel is on the beach! Free parking is always available also. Recently updated so everything is so fresh. The balcony is the perfect spot to watch the sea and waves as you eat your breakfast or watch a sunset."

"Lovely hotel. Room was very comfortable with good amenities. There were groups of sports teams from the UK there. Unfortunately when they arrived the restaurant focused more on them than the other guests resulting in long wait times to order and receive food and drink. You must treat ALL your guests appropriately. I believe the hotel was built in 2003. They can use some upgrades. The rooms have actual "keys" instead of key cards. Overall, my stay was very pleasant. I would return again."
