"Overall the hotel was inviting room upon entering was very nice. The one horrid drawback was this odd and rather large red blotchy stain about 5inches a few inches from the drain.
I got in late so was going to shower in the morning. I did not notice it until the next morning but was in a hurry to get on the road early. So I skipped the shower & now questioned how well the room was actually cleaned & disinfected!"
"On my visit third week of April is was 80+ degrees outside. I checked in shortly after 9pm and went to my assigned room - it was overly warm so I immediately checked the thermostat to make sure it was working. It was set at 68 degrees, but the room was 77 degrees. I grabbed my things and went back to the front desk to report that the HVAC was broken in that room and could they reassign me. They promptly did so and upgraded me to a suite. I went to that room and faced the same problem, realizing that the prior room didn't have a broken HVAC, but that the hotel's system was inadequate. Since I needed to go to sleep in 90 minutes I set the thermostat as low as I could in order to cool the room down and set it at 35 degrees(!) - unfortunately there is no High-Med-Low speeds ... only Auto. The suite had a second room which was even warmer -- why? Thermostat was broken and the temp said 77 degrees -- despite pushing all the buttons it did not light up and nothing changed or gave any hint of working. Just then cool air started coming through the vents in the room and I pulled my portable thermometer out of my backpack to see how quickly I could get temps down in the rooms. Within an hour I got the main room down to 74.1 and within 90 minutes had the bedroom down to 72.4 degrees. Good enough, time for bed. I reset the thermostat to 60. When I woke up in the morning the temps were the same. Appointments in the rooms were sparse/tired, bed squeaked, pillows weren't terrible."
