"This was our 3rd stay at St John's Lodge and yet again it did not disappoint.
Great location, great room (which was upgraded when we arrived, a welcome surprise), great breakfast and amazing service from the Hosts Rich & Ada. Having free access to the Local health club and spa is another fantastic bonus, popping in after a hike to utilise the jacuzzi is great!
We couldn't ask for more from St John's Lodge, Rich and Ada are excellent hosts and couldn't do more for us. We hope to return again...

Breakfast choice is nice and freshly cooked.
Room was very nice. Nice residents lounge.
Free parking.
Easy walk into Bowness for the shops, bars, pubs and restaurants. Great base to explore the beautiful Lake District.
Would happily stay here again."
