From start to finish, everything was smooth and welcoming, but what truly made our stay special was the incredible surprise waiting in the room. The bed had been beautifully decorated with balloons, a birthday banner, and a thoughtful card, which made the occasion feel so personal and memorable. "Great property, excellent location. Very clean a neat, lovely decor. Good facilities (an Nespresso machine would have raised it to 10/10) Shower rather than bath, which is quite common nowadays. Still unsure about the self-check-in and number keypads, but the staff (owner?) were on site during our visit and were lovely."

Fantastic room and tea,coffee making facilities in the beautiful ensuite rooms with a great big bay window and comfortable king size bed and delicious cooked breakfast. "This was our 3rd stay at St John's Lodge and yet again it did not disappoint. Great location, great room (which was upgraded when we arrived, a welcome surprise), great breakfast and amazing service from the Hosts Rich & Ada. Having free access to the Local health club and spa is another fantastic bonus, popping in after a hike to utilise the jacuzzi is great! We couldn't ask for more from St John's Lodge, Rich and Ada are excellent hosts and couldn't do more for us. We hope to return again...
