"Enjoyed our one night stay very much. Check out was 11:00 am not 10:00 plus a free continental breakfast was included which was quite substantial including tea, coffee, juices, fresh fruit, overnight oats, toast, jams, cheese and ham. All the staff were very welcoming, kind and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you."

"Had a nice stay at The Evenlode. Enjoyed the food. The room had everything we needed. Power sockets in good places, always important. Check in was easy, as was check out. Staff were friendly. A little concerned that the shower seemed to have two bottle of hand wash rather than shampoo and body wash. Overall a good stay. "

"Arrived close to closing time and was warmly greeted by publcan, staff and pub regilars. Felt safe and was well fed at breakfast time. Nice to hear other guests talking about their intended visitsof the day. Publican helpful with my additional enquiries and offered suggestions of taxis to get to and from a venue.. Lovely lunch eaten after checking out. Beer Garden well looked after and village was nice to wander around with further walks suggested, if required. The place is cared for. Would go...

"Always stay at the Blue Boar when visiting Witney. Convenient being central. Parking, though not on site, is 3 mins walk away in the Woolgate carpark and free from check in until check out. Breakfast is exceptional - waiter service and chef prepared. Room are simple, but each have an iron and ironing board and hairdryer. Toiletries in bathroom. Aircon in my room much needed as room looked on to main High Street so not really able to open windows. The night I stayed the local council decided...
