"We stayed for just one night and had no complaints whatsoever. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly, the food was delicious, and we left feeling well-rested. Bed was comfortable. I would recommend it. Although we had a shared bathroom, it was spotless, well-maintained, and perfectly functional—so it didn’t affect our stay at all. Lovely atmosphere, fantastic beer garden, overall great. "

"Excellent service with genuine friendly staff. Brilliant team under leadership of manager John. Lovely room with everything you need for a comfortable stay including fresh flask of milk each day. Good menu choice in the restaurant with fresh fish and local meat all delicious. Plentiful breakfast of very high quality. Beautiful village with gorgeous walks on your doorstep packed with wildlife. "Very welcoming & friendly staff, clean room & comfortable bed, breakfast was excellent with a choice of menu. My only concern was our window would Not stay open & we were very hot during the night although a fan was in the room could not sleep with it on, In the morning very little hot water pressure, this could be the someone else had the hot water running at the same time, these were very small negatives but would definitely stay here again "
