"Staff went out of their way to provide an excellent service and deal with queries, all of them, and we spoke to about six during our 3 night stay. Wi-Fi was a problem however, partly due to local geography. Would it not be simple just to put in an ID and a password which could be contained in room info? Breakfast was excellent, as was the restaurant but it was a surprise not to have a "help yourself" area with cereal, yoghourt, fruit and juices for those who do not want a cooked breakfast. I...

The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! "Fantastic place let down somewhat by breakfast. Lackluster buffet crammed in so tightly on the table that it is a nightmare for people with food allergies. Cooked to order meals lukewarm. I have to say dinner the night before was amazing and the room was excellent."

"There are not many places to stay in Wimborne. This is probably the best. Don’t expect elevators or lots of modern conveniences here. This is a 16th century hotel with narrow staircases and our room had beamed ceilings and a copper bathtub. What is great is that it is right in the won center and has enough free and secure parking so you don’t need to use a public carpark."
