"Loved our long weekend at the Black Bull. Very busy pub, but as we were on the second floor no noise issues. Smashing Sunday lunch and all the staff were friendly and helpful, especially the lady behind the bar who checked us in. Only issue was no lift and the stairs are quite steep, so definitely not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Would not hesitate to recommend and will stay again. "

"Nice easy location for Lindisfarne. Good menu, but seems to be the same one at each of this group of hotels. Decent sized room, with tea and biscuits supplied. Bed and pillows a little too firm for my liking, but some people may prefer them this way."

In my opinion it is falsely advertised The pictures looked nothing like our room. The bedding was a yellow colour. The headboard has sweat stains on it. The bath side/floor was rotted, the furniture was extremely outdated. Rooms were too hot, when opening window the extract from the kitchen entered the room.
