The hotel sends a few texts reminding you if you need something to text them, but they don’t respond to the texts and it’s hard to find anyone at the front desk after 9pm. Beds are very firm ( too firm for me but some may like that). They don’t service the rooms daily so you have to go to the front desk if you want towels etc. Portable cooling units cause the window to be partially open so...

"The hotel is trendy and had a fun vibe. While on the small side, I liked the look of the room. I’ve stayed at a Moxy in Arizona and remember the amenities being better. There was no fridge / coffee maker in the room, and the sign stating “Ice / water” was incorrect on my floor only, so I wandered aimlessly looking for ice before giving up. The staff were all friendly, but based on the amenities I likely won’t stay here again."

"Very convenient place and friendly staff, affordable price and relatively clean room. But that was all. No sun light inside the room, very dark even at daytime. You wouldn’t recognize if it was night or day because it was too dark. Very loud party at Saturday night. Very nice roof top for free instead. I could barely stand because it was a business trip. It would have destroyed the trip and left bad impression on San Diego if it was private. Probably I would not stay here again."
