"If you are looking for a nice room this is the place. But if you are expecting some basic service and hospitality (according to the price) forget it. Reception is mostly closed. And there was no one to attend for check-out. It was a mess and got treated very unprofessionally. We were scolded on WhatsApp for wanting to leave our luggage for a couple of hours before flying off."

"Great setting, lovely hotel, lovely pools & the included entry into the two theme parks was excellent. It was a busy weekend & feel the staff were overwhelmed at times, also apart from one or two members of staff, the rest of the staff always looked after, served etc etc the Spanish guests first & foremost, which was frustrating as we are Scottish but after living in Spain for 21 years & speaking Spanish was very frustrating. My wife suffered an injury due to water leaking into the floor...

"Lovely little hotel in an excellent location. Free municipal car park five minutes walk away and a similar distance to Església de Santa Maria del Consol d'Altea (Old town church square) The room was lovely, the staff were friendly and professional It was a bit breezy, so we ran up a fair G&T bill in the little courtyard Not complaining. Worth every cent."

"If you want somewhere quiet and secluded, this is the place. Not much in local restaurants or bars. So lots of home cooking on a small kitchenette. Steep hills to walk. Views are great and the beach is small but safe, as is the main pool though much smaller than the photos. Helpful staff, special thanks to Angela and Juan and the lovely cleaner whose name I never asked."

"3rd trip to the Serawa. Excellent small hotel with amazing staff. Joanna on reception is an asset to any business and is very very helpful. And Vania and Carmen made every breakfast fun and friendly. All of the guys in the kitchen help make what I can only say is my favourite breakfast. The gardeners are also very friendly and have done a fantastic job. The pool area does need some attention. New sunloungers and a bit of money spent on the poolside itself"

"Side sea view room, 2 bedrooms, long balcony. Stayed here in 2023 in panoramic room with wrap around balcony which was better for evening sunset in Block A. However, this stay did not disappoint, still friendly staff, great room, quiet area, beds amazing, best sleep in a long time. Pool was fabulous. "5 star views!!! I must admit the views were incredible, worthy of their 5 star status. The rooms were spacious that came with all the necessary toiletries. However- the bed linen or top cover was not comfortable , quite course and not what I’d expect for such a signature hotel. The breakfast was good- the staff were amazing - however - due to the limited amount of guests (14 rooms vacated vs 84) the hotel decided to close the pool bar and play no music!! "The service (Stephanie and others) was outstanding! They made us feel welcome from the moments we walked in the door. The welcome glass of cava was a lovely surprise. We sat on the rooftop terrace one afternoon and felt quite spoiled when the delivered wine to us even though we were quite happy to carry it ourselves. We felt quite spoiled! The room was clean and lovely and the bed and pillows were extremely comfy. We will definitely return next year. A wonderful time in Altea! "
