"It's a shame that there are some downsides to the cottage, otherwise it would be the ideal place to stay. It has a reasonable kitchen, a lounge area big enough for two, a nice bathroom and shower, convenient parking right outside for one car and a very effective towel rail, although to make it work, the entire heating system had to be on, and with no thermostat in the bedroom (during my stay), it soon became far too hot. Breakfast is good, basic amenities (Cereal, Toast, Yogurts, etc) with cooked to order items and freshly cooked pastries was a nice touch. Lovely staff, friendly, attentive, and informative on the food locality. Dinner platters, fondue, and on-site bar a wonderful choice for a long day hiking when you're to tired to go out again."
