Despite being away from the city and all the stores, this quiet rustic style resort is a wonderful place to relax with your family. The resort restaurant is fairly priced with a good selection of local and western food. Feels like you're in the middle of the jungle.

This resort is a beautiful charm tucked away with a natural landscape environment. The resort restaurant was good quality and surprisingly well priced. However, the location is 25-30 minutes away from the city centre so there's not much in the area. The service and staff were impeccable. Would definitely recommend this place.

Photos are better than real life

Honestly - I was out here for a business trip - the hotel had very good reviews but within an hour I made reservations at another hotel. The bed was extremely low and maybe slightly broken (it sunk in the middle). The sheets seemed yellow but it could have been the lighting. The shower had mold and brown broken tiles. Half of the sockets didn't work and I couldn't charge my computer or phone. It definitely needs some upgrades as it feels like it's from the 70's. The view was amazing and the fish food - however, I would not reserve this and would not recommend to stay here. Sorry.

Villas by the Lake

A unique & distinct concept to create a big lake surrounded by villas, with balcony where you can interact with those fishes that come right to you when you pop up at the balcony. A good distance for walking/ jogging/ cycling to circling around the villas compound.

A good place to stay in Jogja.

I stayed at this place three times and I find this resort is a very good place for family vacation. This is a relatively new resort and has a very nice restaurant in the same complex. Specially someone who wants to travel to Borobudur temple this is a good place.

Average hotel with lack of maintenance of the room

Stayed for 2 nights in this hotel. Staff service was good, check-in experience was just normal. No welcome drink. Room was dissapointed, dirty bathroom, bed bug on the bed. Advise to bring own toothbrush because it was hard.

Perfect get-a-way retreat in a busy city

Pleasantly surprised by Westlake Resort. Peaceful, comfortable and great value for money. Only minor suggestion. We upgraded to a Premier Suite. Very nice, lots of space, but lacking a sofa when there was plenty of room for one. Otherwise, a great value quality peaceful retreat.

Very nice quiet place for relaxing.

We feel very relaxed in this resort with the room open straight to the alley and rear door open to the small private Lyli pond with a lot of fish. It's more than we expected when we see only photos of the resort. The room is comfortable for 3 adults, no need to sleep in an extra bed.

A very kids friendly hotel. It has a swimming pool. You can also feed the fish on the lake by buying the fish pellet at the hotel. The complex has a restaurant which is also kid friendly.

Very romantic and peaceful atmosphere.

Overall meets expectation. Wanted a quiet place far away from busy traffic and that is what I got. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Though their ways of communicating is a bit hard to understand for those who are not used to speaking in Bahasa. The aircon started off slow, it took almost an hour or so to get the room to a cooling temperature but once you settle down and wait, it gets cold.the food are nice. Breakfast that was served at the lounge was delicious and had lunch at its restaurant that is located beside the lake as well.
